What is the expected funding for an experiment?

The funding of an experiment is expected to be around €300,000. The overall indicative budget for the first call is €4.5 million.

How long do experiments last?

Experiments are expected to last between 12 to 18 months.

How many partners are needed?

An experiment proposal can be submitted by a single partner. The number of partners should be small (1 to 3).

Are partners from different countries needed?

No. There are no restrictions.

Is it possible for industry to participate in experiments?

Yes. ECHORD aimes at strenthening the academia-industry collaboration.

Is there a restriction to a specific scenario or research focus in the first call?

The first call for experiment proposals targets the first scenario, human-robot co-worker. However, proposals focused on the other two scenarios may be submitted.
