Welcome to ECHORD – the European Clearing House for Open Robotics Development

High-quality production – ECHORD at AUTOMATICA 2012
ECHORD will be an exhibitor at the AUTOMATICA 2012 in Munich, from 22nd to 25th May. With its motto “Innovations and solutions”, the AUTOMATICA is the leading trade fair for automation and mechatronics. ECHORD will be represented at this important innovation platform with eight of its experiments: ContainerBot, LearnBiP, JILAS, MONROE, KANMAN, ASTROMOBILE, InterAID and SprayBot will display their current outcomes and results. The ECHORD booth is a joint initiative with other European associations and projects and can be found in Hall B3, booth 530/528.
ECHORD at ICRA 2012
ECHORD will hold the workshop "Industry-Academia collaboration in the ECHORD project: a bridge for European robotics innovation" at the ICRA in St Paul, Minnesota, May 18th 2012. In this workshop ECHORD will give a brief overview of the ECHORD experiments, then invited experts and selected speakers from within ECHORD and external will present their works. Afterwards, there will be an open discussion on scientific innovative solutions, future trends and new applications particularly (but not only) about the topics of human robot interaction/cognition and automatic motion planning/control. Find out more.
ECHORD Questionnaire: Industry-Academia Collaborations
In our efforts to strengthen academia-industry collaborations, we have developed a questionnaire comprising 35 quick questions on knowledge transfer and related issues. The questionnaire comes in two flavors, one for academic and one for industrial institutions, so please choose the appropriate one:
Questionnaire for INDUSTRIAL labs
Questionnaire for ACADEMIC labs
We will be happy to share the results with you, if you provide us with an email address at the end of the questionnaire.
Many thanks for participating!
