During the period, the experiment has carried out these activities:

- Fixing the functional requirements of the device: UPC (Intexter and IOC) has elaborated a requirement list considering all the medical requirements as well as mechanical and electronic constraints.

- Taking into account the requirements established in the Task 1, IOC and Intexter have developed a general design concept for the device .

- The mechanic and electronic design of the device has started.
